Since 2017, a brand new neighborhood has been under construction at Hörgensweg in Hamburg's Eidelstedt district - with the aim of creating affordable housing for refugees and socially disadvantaged people. Around 860 apartments, a park, social facilities and daycare centers will be built there by the end of 2019. A challenge for all those involved in the construction. The eight apartment buildings in total are characterized above all by their linear appearance - with green flat roofs and facades with modern facing brickwork. In the execution of the details, the focus is particularly on functional aspects such as durability and energy efficiency. "Particularly with such a large project, it is not only a matter of high product quality, but also of good support and reliable cooperation. That's why we used HANNO's 3-level 接缝密封系统 to seal the approximately 2,500 plastic windows in the first construction phase," says Sven Thomsen, managing director of H.O. Schlüter GmbH (Lübz).

Three levels - protection in a system

With the system components of the 3E system, the component connection is executed safely and professionally in all three levels. In the weather protection level, H.O. Schlüter used the HANNO classic "Hannoband-BG1". The task here was to make the connection joints windproof and driving rain-proof, but still open to vapor diffusion. The ift认证 接缝密封胶带 (building material class B1) meets these requirements and thus ensures optimum long-term sealing of building components. It is suitable for highly stressed primary and cross joints and defies the weather - its exceptionally high resistance was proven in an outdoor weathering test over more than 15 years.

HANNO assembly gun foam" was used for 吸音隔热 in the functional level. This high-yield polyurethane foam has been tested for sound insulation up to 62 dB and is free of CFCs, HCFCs and HFCs. It can be easily applied with the PU foam gun and is characterized by excellent adhesion to almost all standard building substrates.

For the inner level, airtightness is paramount - here, the vapor pressure gradient in particular had to be taken into account, because the inner sealant must have a higher vapor pressure resistance than the outer one. The installers implemented this task using the self-adhesive "Hanno-Folienband DUO Easy+". The foil tape has been awarded the RAL quality mark for 接缝密封 components and systems, is highly airtight (an value < 0.1), and is moisture-variable. Due to its stretchability, it can be processed extremely conveniently - without additional film adhesive. A total of around 30,000 meters of material ensure long-term joint quality in the eight building complexes. In addition, both fabricator and client are on the safe side: By using the Hanno-3E system components for all levels, a functional warranty of 15 years is achieved - for permanently energy-efficient living.

Based on the modular principle, it consists of recommended system components for the weather protection, functional and interior levels. When using the components for all three levels, a property-related warranty of 15 years is possible.
